I love photography. It is the one hobby I can enjoy no matter what type of equipment I pick up. Expensive equipment, cheap equimpent, good or bad equipment, it's all a point and shoot game. My father taught me while growing up, it's not about the photo, or the equipment, but what's in the photo that counts, it's all about the subject. I grew up with a [Minolta SRT101] Camera, a [MC Rokkor - PF 1:14] Lens and a [MC Tele Rokkor - PF 1:28] Telephoto. We had our own darkroom and I became a fan of black and white photos for a long time. After going to the state fair with my 4-H photography, I was hooked.

I've had the camera "re-conditioned" with new seals, etc. I use it only for "special" occasions now, as I now experiement with digital film (on bad cameras, sadly).

This website isn't about the "best" photos, but about keeping photography fun for myself. You'll find a lot of experimental photographs here, bad panos, strange techniques, odd ball photography, and just general nonsense. I decided to start this project with a pano a day for a year. That's 365 panos. This pretty much means i'll be carring a camera wherever I go in an effort to "catch" the perfect pano for the day. I'll expand with some sterography I've already done (real film scanned in), and introduce some interesting photography concepts

You'll find detailed descriptions on how to re-create many of the techniques here. Coming soon will be detailed tutorials and hardware plans for many items you see on the site. I'll also list some free open source photography and graphics software, home made rigs, etc.

If you have suggestions, or know some software that would enhance the site, don't hesitate to drop me a note.
